Pilates for Pregnancy

Pilates teacher Penny Little has started a new ante-natal Pilates class on Mondays at Studio Yoga.  

Pilates is a wonderful form of exercise to do both during and after pregnancy, helping mothers to prepare for the birth of their babies and to regain strength and tone afterwards.  The sessions focus on strengthening the deep core abdominal and pelvic floor muscles which support the back and growing bump.

The classes are fun, safe and involve a breathing technique to help aid relaxation.  They take place on Mondays from 12.30 - 1.30 pm.
