WHAT IS PILATES:

Pilates is an exercise programme accessible to everybody regardless of age or fitness level, including those recovering from injury.  The movements are designed to heighten body awareness, improve posture, flexibility and mobility.  The low impact nature of the movements and the emphasis on muscle lengthening leads to increased strength and leaner muscles.  At Studio Yoga Pilates is taught in small classes allowing the teacher to focus on giving students individual attention.

 

PERSONAL TRAINING:

Studio Yoga offers a peaceful and private space for one-to-one personal training.  Our instructors can motivate you to realise your fitness goals and achieve a healthier lifestyle, using traditional personal training and science based methods, combined with diet and nutrition advice.  Whether your aim is to tone up, lose weight or train for a particular event, we can design a programme focusing on your needs.
