A Balancing Act

Balancing poses in yoga build strength and poise and help us concentrate. The skills we develop are important not just in class but in our everyday life. Learn more about the interplay between your brain and muscles when you stand on one leg, and how to improve your own sense of balance, or that of your students.

A workshop for yoga enthusiasts and teachers interested the physiology of balance and the mind-body connection.

With Tamsin Kelly and Dr Gail Loudon, clinical lead for the Falls Service at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
