Yoga For Healthy Lower Backs
12 week gentle, progressive yoga programme for those with chronic lower back pain, developed with funding from Arthritis Research UK (now Versus Arthritis) and tested in a randomised controlled trial. This evidence based course will teach you simple techniques and exercises to relieve pain, strengthen your back and increase mobility for long term good health. Mind-body group exercise is recommended by the health regulator, NICE, as a first step towards managing low back pain. The class size is kept small to ensure plenty of personal attention and is taught by a highly experienced instructor with specific training in yoga for back problems.
Suitable for beginners, and for all ages.
Participants will also need a resources pack which includes the Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs book, home practice sequences and other teaching materials. We recommend this is purchased separately from Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs before the start of the course.
