About the accommodation:
Casa Mimosa is a beautiful restored farmhouse overlooks the stunning Gran Sasso mountain range. The villa has been meticulously renovated providing luxury accommodation for all age groups, including the disabled.
The upstairs accommodation is centred around a large landing with 5 spacious bedrooms (all with air con) and ensuite bathrooms. Downstairs there is a 6th bedroom/rec room with a disabled facility shower room. There is a cosy ‘snug’ with a wood burner stove which opens onto a terrace that leads to the 13.5 metre pool (open May to end of October) with diving board, nestling into the olive grove. The 45 foot Maiella stone kitchen is sympathetically furnished in old pine and opens onto a long veranda with views across a beautiful terrace to the mountains.
The holiday is all-inclusive, with delicious home-cooked food and great local wine.
About the Yoga:
The holiday will include a yoga practice morning and evening. Casa Mimosa has a beautiful terrace where we can do yoga outside, and in the unlikely event of bad weather there is an indoor space we can use instead.
The morning practice will be energising, with a focus on asana (posture work), with each day building on the day before. The evening practice will be more gentle and grounding, including breathing techniques, restorative yoga poses, meditation and relaxation. The practices will be tailored to the needs of the group and everyone will be encouraged to listen to their own bodies and work in a way that is best for them.
Numbers are limited so Tamsin will be able to ensure that everyone can get the attention they need, and there is an option for individual instruction (at additional cost) during the day if required.
Mats and all other yoga props needed will be provided.
